LOUISIANAHBRAH
changing that nah brah into a yeah brah

Louisianahbrah is a community of over 23,000 progressive Louisianians who are committed to community building, advocacy work, and building a better future for all Louisianians.

about:
Louisianahbrah began as You Can Ring My Bel to help re-elect Governor John Bel Edwards in October of 2019, just days after the primary in which he came up nearly 100,000 votes short against his opponent, Eddie Rispone. In less than a month, YCRMB organically grew into a community of over 1,000 followers with nearly 100,000 content impressions, which helped increase voter turnout in Orleans Parish by 29%.
After the election, the YCRMB Instagram page pivoted to Louisianahbrah to cover general state politics with a progressive twist. Louisianahbrah has become a place that many progressives look to for political analysis, voter information, and calls to action.
The goals of Louisianahbrah are to create empathy, educate, and organize, which it achieves primarily through the Louisianahbrah Instagram page and the Nah Brah Newsletter.
